“Dr Daniel and his whole team at Sandton Eye Clinic are amazing. I was incredibly nervous to do surgery on my eyes but I'd worn glasses and contact lenses for more than 20 years and had always wished I could have laser surgery done.
The whole process was very comprehensive and professional. I had a battery of tests done and a long consultation with Dr Daniel before making the final decision. He was incredibly patient and answered all my questions.
The first 2 weeks after the procedure were rough. The pain and discomfort were manageable but my vision was very blurry and that was disconcerting. But after the initial 2 week recovery, each day my vision got clearer and clearer and now (6 weeks post op) my vision is even better than it ever was with glasses or contacts lenses. I even feel like I can see pictures in books in 3D! It's very weird (at first) but very cool!
